Race: Elven Main City: Lylothemar. Population: 11 Million. Main Faction: Dawnguard Description Elven are a relatively young race in Auroria, having been treated like nothing in the start, but having now grown to be a beacon of light in the dark world. The Elven are one with nature of Auroria, being able to freely move around in it's forests and mountains, with nothing seemingly stopping them. This all has tied into their look, being a lot more skinny than other races and quite tall, but also due to their different ears, being pointy at the tip of the ear. The Elven aren't a weak race, on the contrary they are very strong, but lack physical strength. Though that is made up by being the most agile race in the whole of Auroria, their speed has saved them multiple times in the past, be it for running away or hunting down, it is always helpful. Elven also boast an affinity to forests, allowing them to scale trees with ease and to communicate with wild animals, though this doesn't mean they will help them. Past The Elven are one of the newest intelligent races to Auroria, just in front of the Humans and the Dwarven. The race's beginnings were humble and subtle, they just used the forests as their homes and lived off the land. Though that all changed when contact was made with more advanced races, mainly the Djinni. As like the humans, the Elven were used as cattle and slaves by the Djinni, but the same uprising freed the Elves from their captors and set them free. Fearing another race taking them captive, the Elven fled to the deepest forest in western Auroria, where they set up their capital Lylothemar. This lead to a century in seclusion, hidden away from the rest of Auroria and from anyone who wanted to bring harm to them. Due to this, during the War of the Demigods, the Elven stayed out, hidden away still. Staying out of the war, allowed the Elven kingdom to grow and to become a force to be reckoned with. The armies of the Elven were strong, but not strong enough for what was coming. With the rise of Azeron in the South and the growing numbers of Equilibrium in the eastern lands, the Elven council looked for help from others. This call for help, is what lead to the start of Dawnlight. The Elven prince took the Human princess as his wife and the two became the leaders of this new faction. A faction that could stand up against the power of Azeron and Equilibrium. But the power wasn't enough, as the war was a stalemate, a war of attrition at it's last stands. Not even the warmongering Azeron wanted to continue this, it just wasn't paying off. So the peace treaty was signed, a peace treaty which has now run out. Present The Elven still grow strong till this day, their forces only becoming stronger. Their alliances with the Humans and the Dwarven much more rigid and stable than ever before. The Elven cities are jewels among the lands of Dawnlight, massive structures built into the woodlands, fortresses that seem invincible. But the tensions are still there, Elven haven't forgotten the past.Coded by Eso |
